team i am. The first three weeks were a dream, a second coming of 91, that wasn't to be.
This team could have thrown in the towel, shut it down after three tough losses and the
depletion of key players to injury and foolishness. But, by some way, or some how, Skip has
been able to bring them all together. it's a bland offense and it's a patch work of a team, but
inspiring to me nonetheless. i remember him saying last year, "it may be an ugly baby, but
it's our ugly baby" -- could this be more true? keep fighting Pirates, win out, win the east,
win the conf., win a bowl and this "ugly baby" will have an 11 win season. regardless of how
it unfolds, this team and this coach have earned my respect........
