Of all rivalries, this one is truely our biggest, bigger than the
Wolfpack. Why because S. Miss has consistently since the late 60's
spoiled our party at season end when high hopes for the Pirates were
on the line. Let's not take these guys lightly no matter what their
record. This game today is about ' can you finish'. Let's make a
statement Pirates and win the game we are supposed to win. Erase the
ghosts of seasons' past and paint this one Purple at game end.
