I sent an email to askterry@terrybowden.com (apparently I'm not the
only one) and recieved TWO replies. One from Terry and one from an
assistant. Here they are. If you are interested, I encourage you
to email him through his website at www.terrybowden.com and let TH
know how you feel too!!

Thank you so much for your email to Coach Bowden. He is very
appreciative and flattered by all of the emails he has been
receiving over the past couple of days from ECU fans like yourself.
As I’m sure you know, Terry is coaching at the University of North
Alabama. He is very familiar with your program, and knows that
there is a great opportunity for the right kind of head coach to
achieve a great level of success there.
The ECU alumni and Boosters will hopefully be vocal with their
opinions and wishes for your next head coach, and I imagine that the
Athletic Director and Administration will take those recommendations
into consideration.

Thank you for your comments. I made a commitment to leave
broadcasting and get back into coaching because I wanted to build a
program into a national contender just like my father did at FSU.
They averaged 17,000 in attendance when he got there and look where
they are now. ECU is way beyond that and now is sitting on the verge
