From what I have read, they are considering a merged playoff, not
joining conferences, per se. The winner of C-USA would square off
against MWC. All of this is contingent -- at least I think -- on the
winner receiving an automatic BCS berth, otherwise, what's the point?
The two conferences share an owner, so that is where all the talk is
originating.
